rumble in da jungle

There was a minor earthquake this morning that totally jolted me awake. It was the first earthquake that I've felt in Cali in a long time, and it made me nervous. Thoughts running through my head like "oh shit, is this the big one???" and "I hope my bed doesn't fall through the floor" made my heart race as I slowly sat up. Then it stopped as quickly as it began.

I was fully and completely awake by the time it ended, and I didn't think I would be able to fall back asleep - my heart rate felt as if it has doubled. Then I plopped back down into my 350 thread count down comforter and instantly passed out for another 6 hours. Rofls.
